Have a tech company with innovative technology? AccelerateIP will provide you with the education, mentorship, and support you need to grow your startup in a competitive landscape.
Who's eligible? Tech startups in BC, Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
Which sectors? All tech sectors. Additional support will be available for underrepresented founders and startups in clean tech, health tech, and data tech.
The program will be offered by New Ventures BC, in collaboration with Innovate BC, plus a network of accelerators and business organizations.

In Partnership with Innovate BC, New Ventures BC has secured funding from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) to deliver an integrated three-streamed IP capacity-building program aimed at achieving one overall goal: breaking the cycle of IP scarcity in the region and in Canada by investing in the talent and capital necessary to strengthen Canada’s innovation ecosystem.
Accelerate IP is designed to offer services and support to tech Startups regarding their intellectual property. The project will deliver intellectual property (IP) capacity programming and support across British Columbia.
